Although I'm not an expert in the Metal category..

I still really liked this one. The part that really made me love it was the beginning, when it was first quiet, then loud. And the part at about 2:43 with the whole loud to quiet thing made me first think of zombies returning, and it was amazing. I think you did capture the whole action scene of alien or zombie movies... just thought I'd point that out too... :D

30 Minutes????

I don't believe it. This was too amazing to be constructed in that amount of time. So freaking relaxing!

lanky21 responds:

Thanks Gene! I really appreciate it. May the dance of the manitee always bless your dreams!

For me, all you did was good enough.

From the get-go, I will say straight: this would make freaking amazing game music. For a puzzle game or something, this would be completely unreal. I love the melody and lead and echo, but the only thing I would recommend is that something be done about the snare. It's a little out of proportion in volume to me. You may have just wanted it to stand out, and that's good, but maybe something else in place of that...? Maybe a different snare, one that blends a bit better with the whole ambient theme...? Other than that, the song was amazing; I felt like I was being thrown in a chasm or a void.

horoshij4el responds:

Thanks Friend! I'm really glad that you like it. Yeah, i must do something with the snare. It's too loud.

Thanks!

Me gusta.

Just from the sampling, it sounds pretty sweet. Correction: epic.

It does have an epic feel to it.

Personally, I like epic songs. However, I felt like it was missing something... perhaps a change in the background every once in a while or a sweet bassline, or a fight scene would make it a little better to put it over the top. But it does capture the empire feel, it kind of made me think of the American revolution, and the choice of lead instruments was good.

9/10, 4/5. I'm seeing potential in this song... good job!

This oughtta be the music played in an epic moment

As was stated previously, this would make nice video game music, and loops nicely. But also, I like the way all the pieces of the music sound so perfectly aligned. The background and drums and lead sound epic together. No complaints here... the hard work payed off.

wandschrank responds:

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. :)

Pretty amazing.

The music has a very catchy tune and a sweet bassline. I loved it. But it still seems like there's something missing, and sometimes the song sounded a bit dissonant. Seems like there needs to be a fourth layer of music in parts. But overall, I think you aced most of it! And it would seem like it would work great in a video game.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

Thanks^^ I don't feel it needs more tbh, but thanks:]

Got better towards the end.

I almost stopped listening at the beginning. The voice at the beginning was kind of a shocker, because it sounded strained and monotoneish. But the beat was not bad, and the chorus was amazing. Now it's stuck in my head... good job!

SoulSecure responds:

Well, it wasn't strained but that's kind of the idea. Grunge had a few vocalists with raspy voices and monotonous, bored sounding singing. For instance, Kurt Cobain did this a good bit. Some people like this vocal style and some people don't, it's all good.

Thanks for the review!

Unreal!

All I can say is, your music is beastly awesome, and this song should be among the best of all.
The bass line and the synths are among my favorite, as well as the beat.
Loving it! Keep the beats coming!

I am a regular guy who likes to make music and play video games.
